Sad We've lost Joey Ramone :(

Don't know if there are many Ramones fans out there (given that most of you are still in high school or younger, I doubt it), but Punk Rock Legend Joey Ramone has passed away. Dude, this sucks... The Ramones gave us some profound music, like Beat on the Brat

Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat with a baseball bat
Oh yeah, oh yeah, uh- oh

R.I.P., Joey.

How depressing, now I can't be happy anymore when i'm singing 'I Wanna be Sedated'.

The Ramones' appearance on the Simpsons is a classic.

I'm not a punk fan but Ramones were an exception. Never a favorite or anything, but they released some great records in their day.

Isn't this strange that someone is responding to Joey Ramone's death now, given that it was over six years ago that he passed away??

It's a six-year-old thread that was bumped up.

Did you guys know that John Lennon died, too.

Ah, I miss coily2. I wish she's stop by and say hi sometime.

But yeah, it's times like this I really wish Todd would let me lock threads more than a year old.

Incidentally Chad, Johnny and Dee Dee are dead too.

Well, at least we still have Paul Ringo and George!

Yeah, I wonder what ol' George has been doing lately... collaborating with Tom Petty, still?
