I love to watch these channels. Although they have reality shows on them and they pretty much can fall under the forum REALITY SHOWS, there are other programs that I can't see fall under that. There are documentaries, medical shows, historical programming and there is a show that I love to watch on the Science Channel that is called SURVIVORMAN abt a guy who is a pro/expert on living in the wilderness and he shows what to do in certain situations. He spent one week living in the Arizona Sonora desert eating certain plants, searching for water. Another time he lived in a Colorado canyon and showed how to make traps and he captured a small rodent and showed how to cook it and eat it. It is not only informative, but interesting to watch. There are other shows like Trauma: Life in the ER which shows different ER rooms across the country. There is Medical Incredible which talks abt weird and rare diseases.
