I'm ready for TVLand to switch out Whats Happening with Whats Happening Now. I haven't seen the reruns in years and I want to really look at them to see when the series really jumped the shark.

I quite agree with you.
As a matter of fact, TVLand needs to revamp their whole show schedule and so forth.
What do I mean by this? Well...
For instance, we've seen more than enough of Good Times and a couple of other shows to really be bored by now. As a matter of fact, I've put off buying GT on DVD for this reason alone... really.
Secondly, the idea of swapping WH with the runs of WHN, is super indeed.
And I cannot wait until they show the Jeffersons come this fall sometime (that's what I heard, anyway). It'll be a great change, at least...

Ditto! Speaking of the devil, a Good Times 48 hour marathon is on this weekend. With two cable networks airing the reruns, i've gotten more than enough of the show. They are getting some new programs this summer including 227, The Jeffersons and others.

Oh yeah, Mike...almost forgot about THAT cool TV sitcom, 227! Right on...
And definitely Knight Rider for a marathon; I loved being a growing kid in the early Eighties, enjoying that show and also A-Team.

In any event, though, GSU2004 has made an excellent point overall about TVLand needing to do some other shows, especially those that have not yet been aired on the channel.
STALE classic shows such as Leave it to Beaver and Brady Bunch need to be tossed aside, over to a network like TVOne, for GOOD. I mean it!
YAWN...(to TVLand right NOW)

Cindy why would you let the TV LAND eps of Good Times stop you from buying the DVD? THe DVD has UNCUT eps so you will be seeing new footage of Good Times that you don't see on TV LAND.

Because it's still redundant; I don't know. Maybe I will buy GT on DVD, and maybe not...I dunno...
