I realized yesterday that my one friend's myspace wasn't on my top 8 anymore, so I asked her what happened. She said that it was deleted because she was too young, and her age was set to 14. My age is set to 14 also, but I only put that so my profile is set to private, but I dunno what to do now. They could possibly delete her friends that are underage, which includes me. I changed my age to like 89, lol, but now my profile isn't private anymore. Can anyone help?

wow, really? mine's at 14 too. is she really 14 though?
cause if she's not, it'll get deleted if tom finds out. even if you have a comment that says your real age, you'll get deleted. it happened to me, i set my age at 16 (when 16 was the limit) and i got deleted. |

i would suggest just not putting your actual age anywhere on your profile.
or just wait til you turn 14 i don't know i think if you go to your account settings and click on privacy or whatever, you can set it to private |

Kids have messed up MySpace, not to generalize, but it's true. I think that you should be 18 before you are allowed to get a MySpace. I didn't get mine til I turned 18. I wanted to be mature enough to handle it.

I saw on the news about this college student who had a myspace. When his professors or something asked for his myspace and he gave it to them, when they looked at it they realized he was gay and they kicked him out of school. That was really sad

I agree; I get this friend requests over there and the kids are only 14 years old. No way I'm going to be involved in any of that for good or bad. Police are doing a great job at catching online predators through that site and they need not to stop. Are this kids even aware of with whom they are asking to be friends with? I mean, all I have in my profile is a pic of an ostrich.

i don't get the whole "kids have messed up myspace" thing. it's not like a message board where you have to talk to everyone...if you don't like kids then don't add them as friends. simple as that.

It's not about liking kids or not.
It's the fact that are they aware of what are they doing and with whom they can be getting involved? Not everyone is as smart as you.

i'm getting really damn annoyed hearing about ******** people who tell people exactly who they are and where they live. parents and adminstrators are freaking out thinking that every kid is as dumb as the ones you hear about. just teach them better, dumbasses. it's not their fault you suck as people. whatever. and kids aren't ruining myspace. just leave them alone. and if they request for your friendship, deny it. don't **** yourself over it. pissed: |
