I am trying to write my ECON paper and all of my graphs are supposed to be done on the computer. I need to do a supply and demand graph that my professor said in class could be done using some drawing feature on Word. A supply and demand graph has two lines that intersect in a x. I can't get Excell to do it and it's closing in at midnight and I need 6 pages to turn in at 10am tomorrow and my stress level is reaching a dangerous point. This is why you don't wait until 11 the night before something is due to start it no matter how much you don't want to!! Anybody that can help, even if your reading this at 3 or 4 in the morning, I will probably still be up, please help!!!

Hey,
Sorry to hear about your problem. I'll take a stab at this. On my Microsoft Works there's a spreadsheet part where you just continue on to make a graph. I hope that's what you mean. On there, there's Bar, Line, One month record, Pie, plain grid, student bar graph, student line graph, student one month record, student pie, student plain grid, student vertical grid and vertical grid. I don't have Microsoft Word but aren't they pretty much the same? I could've swore I had Word also. Well, I'll keep looking. I studied those charts in Economics in high school. We made them but not on the computer. Good luck and let me know if this helped at all. Adam |

I wish I could help you but all I can do is sympathize. I always have trouble trying to make graphs on Excel, so I understand the trouble you are having. The only time I ever succeeded was when a professor walked me through it step by step. It didn't seem that hard but I can never seem to do it on my own. It's very frustrating, I know. I hope you can figure it out. Sorry I can't help you. It'll be a late night for me too because I procrastinated and now I have to study for tomorrow's exam.

Nope. I tried searching but couldn't find anything else out. Sorry--I hope everything works out for you.

Thank you Lynn and Madness. My professor got a graph with one computer drawn line and one self-drawn. This is really bad, but I could care less at this point about econ. I need to listen to my friend telling me grades don't matter (She's the one living it up in Spain this semester, what does she know!!). I really wish I could believe it and I just hope to make it to Thursday when everything will be turned in and finished. I can't wait for finals to start next Wednesday! Finals don't bother me at all, but my stress level reaches dangerous point the last week of classes. Lynn-I hope your exam went well!
