I don't like the Shirley from early on when she gets so defensive because of her size. Rerun only asked why can't u come to the party? is it because you can't get a date? Shirley becomes depressed after that. The season 2 Shirley was a lot different and knew she wasn't that much of a looker but didn't let it get her down

I agree 100%, Shirley was at her best when she was insulting people.
