Last night, I watched the show "The Investigators" and it was about the 1989 murders of Joan, Michelle & Christie Rogers while they were vacationing in Florida. They showed footage of when the bodies were being strapped onto gurneys & put into vehicles. Even though the bodies were in bodybags, you could still see the outline of the bodies, like the legs. It was so sad to watch, I was holding back tears. I know that this case has been solved, but the whole thing is just so tragic.

I believe I've seen that show before too. Yes that is one of the UM segments that is hard to take. Especially thinking that they were all sexually assaulted and thrown in the water alive. That sleaze Oba didn't seem to have any remorse at all. If memory serves me right didn't he have a history of hating women? Well I guess he would have to to do what he did to the Roger's family. Their last moments on earth must have been horrific.

Yeah, you are right about him hating women. When I lived in Tampa from 2002-2004 I saw that "The Investigators" episode and was happy that they caught him. I remember seeing that segment on Unsolved Mysteries a number of years ago and it scared me. It seems like the death of his father when he was younger triggered his violent impulses. I'm not making excuses for him, I'm just saying that it can be a trigger to violent behavior.

Cold Case Fles on A&E also did a segement on the Rogers murders. Pretty detailed and similar to the court TV show that aired.
