Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions about this episode (esp. the
surprising conversation between Annie and Rose)? Was Rose sincere or just
faking sincerity in another of her crafty ploys to win over the Camden family?

I believe she was faking it. But then again I don't like her.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. After acting so selfish from her first appearance on the show and to do a complete turnabout like that seemed
kind of phoney. I'm surprised that Annie bought it. (And I've never liked Rose,
either. I don't know how anyone could--but her ex-boyfriend claims to still
love her. If that's true, then those two deserve each other!)

While watching it, I actually thought that the whole scene with Annie and Rose was just Annie's imagination, and any minute she'd snap out of it, and we'd see her sitting at the Promenade waiting for Rose to show up... but looks like it really happened...

Hard to believe Rose totally changed like that.

We still want to know if that was Deena that Simon talked to on his cell and met in the parking lot. He only told Rose's ex-boyfriend that she was "someone he worked with", but that doesn't exclude the possibility that Deena is going to the same school and that she might work with Simon wherever he works at...

Maybe they will clear up that mystery in the next episode.
