While I don't remember the guy's name, I remember this segment. No, I don't think there have been any updates.

His name was Oliver Munson. I found an early 90's article from the Baltimore Sun but didn't feel like paying 4 bucks to read it. I haven't heard that he was ever found but from the segment I have a feeling he was murdered the day he disappeared. It was strange though as he wasn't on doe network either. Maybe his family had him declared legally dead.

This case is very sad because Oliver's mom died without ever finding out what happened to him. I also feel that he's been deceased for years now and the man who sold him the stolen Datsun was also suspected of having been involved in his disappearance.

update - Oliver is now on the Doe Network. It appears as if his file was added within the last half a year or so. Here is the link.

Yeah Oliver Munson is still missing. Very sad case and I agree with the majority on here that Munson was probably murdered shortly after his disapperance. Very sad because he sounded like a very nice man that was well liked by his colleagues and loved by his students. I do think Dennis Watson was behind Munson's disapperance and probable murder. Watson seems to be the type that kills anyone that gets in his way and it is sad he was never charged with Munson's murder. But it was one of those things where they couldnt prove he was alive and they couldnt prove he was dead so I guess they couldnt charge Watson with murder. Remember that Munson was the third eyewitness against a crime of Watson's to meet with foul play in a 10 year period. Like with that guy that died in a car fire the night before he was supposed to testify against Watson. Or the witness that died of a mysterious drug overdose just days before they were supposed to testify that Watson had the first witness killed. I find that weird though that Watson would have Munson killed but then plead guilty to the crime that Munson would have testified against him for anyway. Watson was probably looking at more time though if Munson testified against him but Watson did plead guilty to 10 years and was paroled in 1989 after serving half his sentence.
