Default not clutter

this was not meant as clutter

i was just lamenting how the same bickering goes on
over stupid things

i mean a bad trader post is 1 thing

but the name calling (in the CHIPS Thread) and so on is just immature

and i post that its immature, and then 5 minutes later they do it again

so i get tired of even trying to help with those problems

I can remember, I believe it was the first or second grade, and the teacher did a experiment. We had about 30 kids in class and she went to the first one, whispered something in his or her ear, and that student turned around and whispered it to the second, and the second to the third, etc. When it reqached the 30th, she asked that child to say what he or she just heard. Of course it was completely different from she told the first child.

It's the same thing here. Poster one makes a statement, it might be looking for a new set, created a new set, or just wants to ask a question. Within 4 posts, someone is a idiot, a moron or worse. Same as as the first grade. Boy, what distortion of a thread.

Me, I'm full of love. Hear that ladies!

Loveable Harv

Savage, can you send me one of those dogs? I hear they are fantastic, just leave it plain, ill put on my own stuff here.

Oh yeah, um people shouldn't fight, bicker, online. They should leave things be, people should handle stuff privately. What else...selling is bad, don't say something if you can't back it up. If you can walk the walk, you better be talking about a dead horse or something. Ya know, all that stuff that needs to be said every couple weeks when a post gets out of hand and so on.

Well I guess I have never really looked for them, I will be sure to check it out next time I hit the grocery store.

I am glad it is just like being there tastewise, I would hate to open a package of hotdogs and a middle-aged guy not wearing deodorant and sweating into the food, popped out.

JO-KER! JO-KER! JO-KER!

Ladies and Gentlemen: On today’s show we 3 headed midgets who have cheated on their spouses with the household pet.

Joker I will give you the fact that controversy sells otherwise shows like Springer would never have made it. That does not necessarily mean that we want it here on the board. It is not that long ago when TJ shut the whole board down because of controversy and flame wars.

Granted the controversial posts are getting more hits because it is that old “can’t pass a train wreck without stopping to look.” Eventually though the same controversy and flame wars gets boring and people will stop looking.

Go start “Jokers Flame Wars” board, I would bet it would be popular for awhile (hell I would check it out) but eventually it would get boring and people would go looking for a little more substance. Minor insults and sarcastic banter can easily turn into full-blown flame wars.

The Mods here are easily the most active that I have seen on any forum and keep the site running well, if not for the level of moderation Sitcoms would be just like the others. I for 1 come here because Sitcoms is better than the others.

Cheers
Jay

Dude, I caught it the first time - don't worry.

But you geniuses are proving my point -

here you are complaining about clutter and you create a thread just to talk about an other thread that annoys you but nobody is forcing you to read.

Think about that for a sec ---

Now, how 'bout them Canucks .......... FORRRRE !

I am not saying that you do not have valid points and I find some of your post amusing. However, I worry that we are going to hit the same problems we had when TJ shut the board down last year as the wars became way too frequent. I certainly think you would be a riot to go out and hit the bar with and you show great wit. BUT don't you think if you antagonize enough people you will end up on the outside looking in?

You make valid points and I like your sense of humor but there has to be a line somewhere. In my opinion (for what its worth) I think you are dancing on that line.

Like I said before the controversy does draw people in (myself included) but eventually it gets stale.

As far as the Canucks go that was just LOW (or maybe thats their place in the standings), I still hold out hope that the Oilers will suck worse than us, that way Detriot can kick the crap out of the nucks.

Cheers
Jay

Don't for one minute believe what Loren has to say about Nathan store bought franks. I live about 10 minutes away from Coney Island, home of the Nathan frank, and as a kid grew up at Coney Island, spending many hot, muggy days on the beach and boardwalk. There wasn't a ride that I missed, a sideshow I didn't see, a game arcade I didn't play in. Coney Island wasn't Coney Island without eating lunch at Nathan's for those hotdog's and franks, washed down with a old fashioned foamy rootbeer. The crap they sell in the supermarket, pales in taste to the real thing. Really, there is a big difference.
