that he hadn't seen Thelma since she was in diapers. Damn! that's a long time. Yeah, him and Flo ARE REAL CLOSE...so close, they didn't see each other for such a long time.

How would Raymond know what size Thelma was to buy her that dress?

The way he acted, you think he and Flo saw each other quite a lot.

I think he meant they were close when they were younger. I was thinking about the dress thing too!

Maybe he and Florida sometimes wrote to each other and, perhaps after Raymond wrote something about wanting to buy stuff for the kids, Florida wrote back their sizes- then forgot about it because she had no reason to think that any of his promises held any water!
