Default SEASON 3 DVD RELEASE DATE & ARTWORK

The wait is over... July 25th make sure you all go out and buy a copy.

Here's the news and artwork. I'm disappointed Shout! used the exact same pic as previous releases and even more disappointed they used a horrible dull pink for the background.

For a fan like me, it's just cheap looking... you know 4 dvd sets which look exactly alike except for the background colour. Would it really have hurt Shout! to find different photos... or even a different pose would've improved it! It just "shouts" laziness and lack of originality.

I agree I don't like the same covers, but I'm glad at least we're getting the last two seasons. That was in doubt for awhile.

Honestly, the cover doesn't excite me in anyway. But... I'm a big fan and greatful to finally get these two seasons. I was fortunate to tape the entire series from the originally Family Channel... However they were cut up, commercialized, and plain awful in quality.

I have enjoyed this series on DVD the most. One, they have chapter selections. Two, they allow you to choose which episode or play all. Three, this is the only series which has not only had chapters but the convience of allowing someone to continuously play the episodes without stopping(meaning that if I'm doing dishes or cooking or whatever and the dvd ends, I won't have to hear the theme song repeated until I can press play again). Four, unlike many dvd boxed sets that after the first two seasons they start ditching the extras (currently Full House and Bewitched are just episodes and nothing more) we have been promised more episodes of It's Punky Brewster. I'm hoping for some more interviews including Brandon the Wonder Dog, seriously I would like to hear from the guy who played Mike, and hopefully PB herself.

I don't care how the cover looks, just as long as we're getting season 3 I'm fine with it. But I hope that season 4 DVD cover doesn't look like the other three, that would be ridiculous.

I agree with robby that the artwork looks generic...but ultimately, I'm just glad this is finally coming to DVD.

Also, tvshowsondvd.com mentioned that Shout! is currently working on the Season 4 set, so I'm very happy about that!
