Cool What celebrities have you all met?

I only put this in the tape trading section because I have noticed that Lamont has met a lot of celebrities and he doesn't go to many other boards here so I was just looking to see who everyone here and Lamont has met. I know he said he met Al Lewis, Bob Denver, and Andre the Giant. Anyone else Lamont?-lol

The first celeb I ever met was Hulk Hogan (early 80's). He was at the local Denny's in Allentown, PA at around 2am in the morning. They were in town for a local wrestling show. He told me where all the other wrestlers hung out, and I met Lou Albano, George "The Animal" Steele - he was the best! A real goof a character in the ring, but a nice quiet guy outside. Lou was too.

Most recently met Quentin Tarantino and Pam Anderson at the Whiskey Bar in Las Vegas (Green Valley Ranch Resort). They were hanging out together at the bar, said "Hi" but figured I'd be pushing my luck if I went further! Funniest thing was, the day before, we spotted Ex-President Clinton walking through the lobby with his keepers. Thought it was quite a coincidence - Clinton and Anderson in the same hotel...but I'm not implying anything! lol

I also live in an area that is ripe for celebrity encounters (Phoenix). If I see someone at the airport or shopping or eating dinner with friends, I normally hate approaching them. I figure they are people too & may want to just get on with whatever they're doing without being bothered. But the oddest encounter was going to a school fund raising event & seeing Alice Cooper (his kids attended the school), looking very Alice-y playing basketball with all the lawyers & doctors in their polo shirts.

I saw David Cross (Mr. Show with Bob and David, Arrested Development) while I was on vacation in New Orleans. He was in town doing a stand-up show and I saw him walking around, he was a real nice guy and took a picture with me and my friends.

I saw Tom Selleck once but I didn't say anything, something I now regret.

Hume Cronin
Jessica Tandy
Jerry Orbach
Natalie Schafer
Scott Bakula
John Astin
Jerry Lewis
Robert Deniro

...there were many others but it was a long time ago and I have forgotten most of them.

Being a scot, I don't get many chances to meet American celebs, but I have met Meat Loaf (when he was on tour here), Johnny Vegas (a really famous comedian in the UK), Michael Moore (when he gave a book reading here), and Puff Daddy (when I visited New York). I've also had quite a few email conversations with Chris Costello (Lou's daughter).

if you are counting athletes, i have met countless bengals, reds, and tons of cincinnati's minor league teams players(marshals, mighty ducks, cyclones). a lot of which were autograph signings or post game meetings. i have met the lead singers of 311 - nick hexum, 3 doors down - brad arnold, one side zero - jason radford, and the greatest wrestler ever, bret "the hitman" hart.

the only actor that i have met was michael douglas

William Marshall, The King of Cartoons from Pee-wee's Playhouse
He came to my middle school, but I didn't know who he was because I never liked that show. He was really nice though. Shook everyone's hand and gave us autographs.

Xavier Hernandez, from the Houston Astros. He came to my high school and I didn't know who he was either because I'm not into baseball. He was pleasant also and gave us autographs.

Genghis Kahn was a nasty man. Asked for a autograph and he almost cut my head of.

Harvey, who is looking to be here to tell it.
