TVLAND, you stink!

TVLAND didn't air the episodes where Penny is being abused by her birth mother(Four part miniseries) and skips right ahead to Thelma Moves Out, the first epiosode after the four part miniseries. I was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" where is the explosive four part miniseries?

I think they showed those in what they call the "My Time Marathon". They show 4 episodes of Good Times every Monday night like at 2am or something. I know they have aired those 4 before.

the only multi part episode I liked was when JJ gets shot. The rest of them were awful.

I think J.J New Career Part 1 and 2 was the best followed by J.J's Gang

You can get them (season 5) cheaper than that @amazon.com. They sell new and used DVDs. I buy the majority if not all, my DVDs and box sets from Amazon and I have not had any trouble with any of them.

Then get a job and save the money to buy them. I'm glad they skipped them too. They were awful.

No. They were not boring. They traumatized me as a child. Any show or movie in which the child was orphaned, kidnapped, abused or taken away from their parents would scare me emotionlly. There were just some days that I could not watch "Punky Brewster" or sit through "Mommy Dearest"(NO...MORE ...HANGERS!) or this 4 part Good Times Episode. I remember looking at J.J. as the hero that saved the day. Now keep in mind that I was seven when all this stuff was happening. LOL.

It is funny when I think back to it but I still get chills when I sit through those 4 eps of Good Times and I do not like the facts that J.J. was taking so many uneccessary shots at Thelma. She did insult him back every now and again, but I found myself getting irritated.
