Does anyone know if there are any plans to release the 13 Lucy and Desi Comedy Hour on DVD?

No news have been released yet. I hope that during the Jamestown conventions some details are released since Greg O is going to be there.

Gregg Oppenheimer told me about a week ago that there are still no plans yet, but he thinks CBS will produce it...I don't think he's sure about producing the Comedy Hours at the moment.

The bonus material for the Comedy Hours could be spectacular! Think about it: original animated openings, the cast commericals, Westinghouse-Desilu Playhouse footage from the shows, all specials unedited as aired, and a 75-minute version of "Lucy Takes A Cruise To Havana!" And what's even better is that all 13 could be released in one package.

To me, that's the only way it can. 4 episodes per DVD release wouldn't be worth it.
