is the same guy on the Jeffersons who tended bar...wasn't his name Charlie on the Jeffersons?

Yepper, girlie Irene, that is Danny Wells, and he was Charlie the bartender in The Jeffersons...

Also in WH, he was the Plainclothesman detective that busted Raj and his pals for scalping in "The Tickets"... (Season 1, DVD set disc #3)
Plus, he played this dude who sold the "Whopper Choppers" to Fred Sanford on Sanford & Son...countless 70's Decade roles, I imagine...

Cool, huh?

I think that Danny Wells did his best when he was Charlie the bartender in The Jeffersons, though...
and then, his role as the Plainclothesman detective in the latter portion of Season 1 in WH would possibly come in at a close second.
