ok here is something that i am doubtful i will find

(what a way to start it off)

in the late 80s there was 1 UNAIRED WWF/WWE SATURDAY NIGHTS MAIN EVENT

u know, they used to air in place of SNL like very few months,

anyhow, they filmed 1 show, BUT NEVER AIRED IT, b/c some of the storylines were dropped suddenly and the whole show was scrapped

the main event was HERCULES HERNANDEZ and ANDRE THE GIANT vs HULK HOGAN and KEN PATERA

anyone? anyone? bueller?

BUT back in the late 1980s i subscribed to like 3 or 4 wrestling magazines

the ONLY way i heard about it, is that after Wrestlemania 3 (hogan vs andre) an issue of INSIDE WRESTLING (i think) had a cover story on that match, and lots of pics from it, and u can clearly see the banners for SATURDAY NIGHTS MAIN EVENT on the side of the ring and in the background, and the article talked of how it was taped for a Summer airing, BUT it never aired, b/c Andre had health issues and they took him off the roster for several months to have back surgery

so i guess they just taped a different show to air, and maybe that footage is somewhere in the vaults

BUTTTTTT there is so much wrestling vhs and dvd on ebay and on the net, i am hoping to find it someplace
