I'm not claiming to be an expert on mixed-race (black & white) people, but I do believe things like that have happened in real life.

I thought the same thing too. As a teen watching this it made me wonder, is it possible to have a real dark child and one really white child if the parents are mixed?

I think so too...being much older now, I am sure it can happen, but I can't think of anytime having seen such an example.

I"m Biracial and I'm always mistaken for Hispanic. My husband is white and yet our one of our little girls is a tad darker then me and my husband. So when your biracial, lord only knows what color you'll come out as.

Brie, i know what you mean. Basically when it comes to having children, there is always a surprise. you can never know for sure what God will give you. My middle daughter has a nice cocoa skin color. She always gets compliments from people. Yet, me and my older daughter are very light. I am hispanic. I was adopted. My biological father was very very white looking, however he was part mexican and possibly cuban. My family thought he was a white american when they met him. He was almost 7 feet tall and had very very red hair. My biological mother was short and had dark features. She was mexican and part Indian. My son has reddish hair and is very light. You never know what may be.

Both my wife and I have olive skin and dark hair, yet my daughter was born with blonde hair and fair skin, so I guess anything is possible.
