Was there a moment that Chachi was mentioned in CIC? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I must be getting this wrong, but I think either one of the Powell children or whoever said it began as that kid from Happy Days...While I know that Don Most appeared in CIC as the guy that won the lottery with the line, "Happy Days are hear again!" But was there another Happy Days reference that mentioned Chachi at all?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted to add that the Beastie Boys say Chachi in Charge in the song "Hey Ladies."

I don't remember the exact wording, but I do remember one episode where someone did an impersonation of "that guy from Happy Days" and Charles said something like "that kid was an idiot." (Don't qoute me on this, but you get the idea.)

that was Anthony, Charles' cousin...the kid that Lillian took in when his parents couldn't handle him.

Anthony (after Jamie *I think* left the room): wah wah wah
Charles: 'wah wah wah'? who says 'wah wah wah'? nobody says 'wah wah wah'.
Anthony: What are you talking about? that kid on Happy Days said 'wah wah wah'.
Charles: What did he know? He was a weenie.

So, while Chachi's name was never mentioned, he was referred to.

That's the one I was thinking of. Anthony was a really short-lived character. Even Whalin couldn't make that character come alive, I am afraid.

Didn't they explain what became of Anthony....he sort of disappeared all of a sudden.

no, there was no explanation as to what happened to Anthony...I think he was only on for, like, three episodes. It was weird, he was in the opening credits for those shows so everyone thought he'd be permanent but he just disappeared.
