It has not been canceled. 1 episode is only unaired. They only planned on 10 episodes for air originally.

I hope they don't cancel it. It has actually gotten pretty good.

It only had 3.2 million viewers last night... no way there will be another season.

The numbers are bad, but people love it. So, I hope ABC brings it back like how Fox brought back Arrested Development. ABC should air it on Saturdays, then they'll have nothing to lose really.

same here. It's one of those shows you need to let it run for awhile.

I think it's the best of the new situation comedies that have recently premiered , hopefully they will be given a green light to produce more shows and repeat the 10 shows that have been aired so far.

Not that I like this show, I just don't get what is funny - I watched the Pilot (maybe it got better?) and I didn't laugh once, bad rip off of Arrested Development?

But, maybe NBC could pick it up? Its produced by NBC U, come to think of it ABC & NBC could swap Scrubs & Sons and Daughters.

I don't get why people always say that it is an "AD" rip-off. Fred Goss has something to say to you people:

no matter what fred says to me its a knockoff and the actors are not funny enough to improvise

First off, I reallllly hope this show isn't canceled because I seriously find it hilarious.

Secondly, I can understand why Sons and Daughters gets compared to Arrested Development. Stylistically, they are both very similar -- shot the same way, and with that progressive aesthetic, not the typical interlaced TV look. Also, although the backbone of SD is improvisation, the comedy of both shows does center a lot on situational irony and characters that are over the top, living in their own head in a sense. I understand the comparison, but I still think they are very different shows.

Yeah, I kinda figured it wasn't coming back after the original run.

It's too bad because I liked the show. Compared to the other comedies ABC premiered this season (Freddie? Yeesh.) "Sons And Daughters" was pretty good.
