I did. So far, I've seen the first disc (I'm savoring it for now ) and I've seen my favorite episode already..."Discipline". I love that episode. Michael Pearlman was so cute at the beginning when he was trying to get someone's attention when he walked in the house....."I am very sincerely furious with myself!" LOL! And then Lila walks in and says the same thing. And then after Douglas comes home, my all-time favorite CiC scene....Charles and Buddy come in....
Charles: I hate school!
Buddy: I quit!
Charles: Three midterm exams...
Buddy: In the same week!
Charles: If it wasn't already cruel and unusual punishment to have two midterm exams....today we find out they're going to throw a third one at us...
Buddy: In the same week!
Charles: Now I ask you, how is one supposed to study for three midterm exams....
Buddy: (after a brief pause) In the same week!

cracks me up every time! LMAO. I can't wait to see the "Charles R Us" episode.

I got mine last week and I just have the last 2 episodes to go... sniff sniff.

Some of the disc 1 episodes are a bit dialogue heavy and they just stay in the house for the whole episode. Luckily the others were great episodes.

And Matthew Perry! Ha ha he's just like a mini-Chandler Bing!!!

I did, too! Can't get enough of it......totally cool to see it uncut and full length instead of the syndicated versions.

I know! when I saw the "extracurricular activities" episode, I totally forgot about the scene in which Mr. Pembroke picks up Jason and shakes him. I remember seeing that in the credits in the syndication run but I couldn't remember how it came about.

I am pretty curious about the Amittyville run time. Mine said: 22:27 at least and isn't the one showed in reruns usually 22:15 minutes, though I could be wrong. I think they syndicated episode shown on UPN cut the part where Charles says "And not without ice cream!"

I'm thinking that the Powell episodes were originally shorter than the Pembroke episodes cause they were going directly to syndication...so the run time ended up being shorter (than it is for network shows) to allow time for more commercials.

Anyway, my favorite line from Amityville was this:
Jamie: (after she meets Charles) I don't do brocolli.
Charles: right back at ya

I don't remember that line you mentioned. I haven't seen it in a lonnnnnnnng time.

It's part where he says about the women writers that Sarah is enthralled with.....and he says something "And they're both dead. And not without ice cream!"

I'll have to check if that last line is there at all.

I went to my local Target to look for it the day it came out, they didn't have it, and for some strange reason I haven't even bothered to look for it elsewhere.
