I would check Ebay (make it a favorite search, so you get emailed if someone lists it), Biography Channel and A&E often.

not a big rastlin' fan, but I have to say that this was a great documentary... his meals --OMG can't remember all the details... but I think I recall him drinking 20+ beers, eating several whole chickens and then topping it off with a bottle of wine.

Default True Story

In the Early 80s we went to a wwf/wwe wrestling card in the DC area and later that night we saw Andre at a restaurant
he ate sooooo much and must have consumed 2 or 3 bottles of wine alone, NOT to count the beer he drank

after we were done eating we just kept sitting there watching him eat as well, he was in a large group and they were keeping them semi-private , so we were not able to go over and talk to him, but it was very cool to see how much the man could eat and drink

One of my favorite wrestlers next to Roddy piper. As a little boy I would say to my mom-"Shouldn't those guys be scared to wrestle him, is so big."-lol

He also had more teeth than the average human being. Andre was truly a freak of nature.

He was also one of the kindest and gentlest people that anyone would meet.

he spent hours touring hospitals and kids wards.

It's a great documentary. One of the best that A&E Put together
and didn't just concentrate on the wrestling side of his life.

I recall seeing the biography that A&E showed. It was good.

Which was the only way they could even guess the correct anesthesia to use during surgery.

I did a report of Andre the Giant for French class a few years ago and the day I turned in the report this aired the same night. I was so mad because I could have gotten a lot more info on him from it. Oh well.
