I want to say yes, but that's really Don Nelson's team. He's just keeping the team together. He's a good motivator, but let's see if he can help take the Mavericks to the next level.

i think hes a good coach but i might be baised because i was always a huge avery johnson fan when he was a player

I respect Avery as a coach and I think he does a great job.

He's a good coach. He's the black Lawrence Frank.

He's a very good coach, but he also inherited a really good team. The Mavs were already great offensive team, and now they're playing good defense as well thanks to his coaching.

It's sort of like the job Flip Saunders has done here in Detroit. He made an already great defensive team into a great offensive team.
