I dont think what he said was very mouthy. Seemed like a "normal" thing to say. I think he was more audacious when at the end of one episode (I believe its the one where Denise tells her parents she's not going back to college) he calculates the cost his education would be at the most expensive school as a biology major, and expects Cliff and Clair to give him that money to set up a business or something. Then taking... what... 18% off b/c they're "good parents!" LOL He had some nerve doing that. Clair was right to dig into him after that.

Yeah I love the ending of that episode, Theo says well you can just give me the money that you were going to spend for me to go to college-lol And when Clair throws him out,he says-"Well can I atleast $3.00 for someone pizza"-lol

Exactly. If anything, he was just being funny...after seeing how the eldest PERFECT daughter disappointed her mother, Theo felt like "Hey, why do that to my parents...just give me the money instead of throwing it away!" LOL That was funny...not being audacious. Audacious was the word to describe SOOOOOONDRA for having the nerve to tell her parents that she wanted to own a camping store...

That's nothing compared to what he could have said. Swearing at or being crude to Cliff would be audacious.
