Default "The Last Page" has to be by FAR...

...the WORST episode of What's Happening. It was completely unwatchable as far as I'm concerned. All those dream sequences with Rerun in different sitcoms was so unfunny.

I disagree, I prefer the Last Page episode over the episode-"No Roger, No Rerun, No Rent"

I agree, I've always said that this was the worst episode EVER. I don't know what the writers were smoking the day they wrote that episode. I guess they figured the WH was over so they just wrote anything. Season 3 writing was horrible.

Since the show was on ABC and the writers were bored as hell, I guess the thought of ratings and showing off the other ABC shows was the only thing they were thinking. When I did see this the first time during its first run, it was fun to watch. But that was waaaay back then. Being older now and really looking at it, it is the worst.

It proved to me that Rerun was definitely not the star of WH. This was an episode built around him and it was horrible.

Question Agreed...to a point

I agree with this, to a certain and very fine point...

Where the dream sequence scenarios set in "Happy Days" and "Three's Company" were all right, they could've done away with the one set to "Mork and Mindy" completely...

Overall, as Brain Damage said, this particular episode was set mainly around Rerun and that idea alone totally sucked. There was no personality there, hardly...just like Rerun was in real life. (Not kidding here.)
And TV Researcher brings up a good point as well, concerning "No Roger, No Rerun, No Rent". That one was totally lacking in all sorts of important humor & enjoyment factors!

I watched all 65 episodes on DVD this past week (just finishing up today) and I agree. "The Last Page" is the WORST episode of the series. I couldn't stand it at all. None of them did a good job playing the other characters. It's as if they never saw the shows that they were in. Rerun's Fonzie is way too mean. His Mork is like a robot.

The "No Roger, No Rerun, No Rent" episode wasn't the best, but I liked it. Well, for a season three episode. The third season is easily the worst.

I liked this episode. I love when scripts wreak of total drug usage, by the writers.

The third season was awful. This episode with them fake, cheesey sets was the absolute worst. You could sense that the studio probably had to put up laughter signs in the audience to make them laugh. When the show came to TVLand in 2005, I remember turning it off after the first commercial break.

I did the very same thing. I don't think they could even hold up signs to say Laugh because this crap was soooo unfunny. It was probably canned laughter.

LOL, that is probably the truth. After this episode aired, I would have cancelled it also if I was ABC. I hate when shows run out of ideas or big egoed actors want to control storylines.

Seeing that episode in reruns, I can't help but notice how the audience almost seemed to be laughing but not because it was funny, more like out of embarrassment.
