OMG, it never fails, on CBS i keep seeing this damn commercial for Always Pads. Yes, it's for us women and that time of the month. They show a pad and a pinball machine noise in the background as this metal ball rolls around on the pad!!!!! and IN A MAN'S VOICE HE SAYS: HAVE A HAPPY PERIOD!

WTF???????????????????????? HAPPY PERIOD???????????????????? A MAN'S VOICE?????????????????????? PINBALL MACHINE????????????????

ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS ASININE COMMERCIAL!!!!!!!??????

You know it was thought up by a man. There is no way in hell that a woman would have pitched an ad campaign like that.

I read this thread and cracked up. I've seen that commercial, it airs A LOT. I agree happy and period shouldn't be in the same sentence. They should do away with those ads, I think every woman knows what to go buy when her time of the month comes around. No need for advertisement. I've never seen a woman get excited over pads and tampons.

I am sure the guys would be happy to see this commercial gone too. I know my boyfriend would be. Even he said, "That's ridiculous; nothing abt your period makes you happy...no way will a pad make you happy!"

lol yea, all the girls I know say they can't stand commercials about periods because they always make them seem so nice and happy when it's anything but haha.
