I caught the part of TVLAND Awards featuring MTM. I was very surprised. What happened to that lovely MTM face? I know she has health issues, but her face looked very strange. Was it too much plastic surgery, botox, etc?

Answer: All of the above. She has not aged well, in my opinion.

It looks kind of unnatural for a 67 yr old woman not to have a wrinkle anywhere
She is getting more and more of that Joan Rivers look. BTW did any see Linda Evans lately. She is totally unrecognizable

I remember when TV Guide had a photo of MTM on the cover. She was promoting her first variety show called Mary. She was wearing a large mouse costume, taken from a skit she did with actor Dick Shawn. I was shocked that they allowed the photo to go on the cover. Her face was badly wrinkled in a very unflattering photo, and she was obviously showing the after effects of her smoking, drinking, and diabetes. A number of weeks later, another photo of MTM, in a much more flattering pose, appeared again on the TV Guide cover. At the time, I thought some public relations person had convinced TV Guide to make amends for the first bad photograph. Unfortunately, it didn't help the variety show, as it didn't last too much longer after that.
