Question Vegetables: Fresh, Frozen or Canned?

I love fresh vegetables the best. Fresh asparagus, broccoli, green beans, brussel sprouts, zuchini, carrots, butternut squash, spinach, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.

For can veggies, I like peas, beets, corn, and green beans here and there. My husband likes cream style corn.

Frozen, I like broccoli, peas, corn, even corn on the cob.

I prefer frozen broccoli
frozen mixed vegetables
canned corn
canned green beans
fresh carrots
i could never get into cream style corn. maybe if I was a lady wrestler.

Fresh is the way to go.

If you can't have that, I would pick frozen over canned every time.
There is an extreme difference in taste.

I like to get fresh vegetables when I can, but I don't like to buy large amounts.

Canned stuff won't go bad if you forget to use them for a few days..

Fresh corn on the cob, green beans, baby carrots, brocolli (as long as they're cooked....I hate raw veggies).

Frozen peas, green beans, brocolli.

Canned potatoes, hominy.

It all depends on what I am trying to make. Some veggies taste better or goes well with fresh, frozen or canned.

Here's my list of what I can remember:

Fresh:
-broccoli
-corn
-tomatoes
-chile (and also fire roasted)
-carrots
-green beans

Frozen:
-corn on the cob
-okra

Canned:
-cream-style corn
-corn

I can't think of all of the ones I eat the most.

Fresh all the time. I don't even like to refrigerate vegetables. I just go to Trader Joe's whenever I need them.
