There was a show that was on when I was a teen. It was about a girl who developed powers after a truck got in an accident and some chemicals spilled out.

Only her sister knew she had these powers. Her sister was very involved in Science. If I remember correctly their father was a scientist.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
