Default I have seen this movie 3 times and I didn't know Dee was in it...

As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson. She plays the veterinarian. I have seen this movie 3 times...i will admit I have changed the channel a few times throughout the movie, so that is why I didn't know she was in it. They are showing this movie on ON DEMAND and cable so now I am going to watch it just for that part. I found this out when my boyfriend told me he seen it and the actress looked like "Dee"...i thought he was wrong, so I checked it out on the net and sure enough it says Danielle Spencer.

Are you serious? I've seen that movie quite a few times, but never really paid attention. I'll have to watch again. Thanks for the heads up, Irene.

You are welcome. I won't believe it til I see it myself. Crazy to think I have missed her while watching this movie.

Cool I bought that DVD just for that purpose! LOL

Oh yeah, that's exactly why I bought that DVD in particular (super-cheap, in mint condition at TARGET). I knew that Danielle was in the movie as a veterinarian, and I love Jack Nicholson & Helen Hunt anyways.

Anyhow, even though it was a brief part for Danielle, it was cool to see her then in that. It was also during the time that she began to let her hair grow out.
And get this! When that movie was filmed, it was filmed primarily in New York City, but when it came to Danielle's scene, it was actually filmed at her Cali veterinary office. My brother takes his twin Rotties to her there for routine care/checkups, and it was startling to see that office scene all over again.

It was her. Her credit appears on the Internet Movie Database. One of my professors her at UCF(University of Central Florida) worked on the production side of the movie back in 1996 as well.

Lightbulb Dani's part comes right in when...

Right after we see Helen Hunt hang up the phone after talking to Jack Nicholson about the trip to Baltimore, and the veterinary office's lobby scene comes on, we hear Dani ask, "Anything unusual in the dog's diet?", to Jack Nicholson and then we see her & Jack facing each other.
Danielle holds the little dog in arm as Jack asks her questions.
