Question simone/eric *sigh*

these two were definitely my favorite couple on the show, but i have just one question. i know they got together on the "first date" episode and then broke up the next season on "viki and eric and simone and alex", but when did they officially get back together? by the finale, they were talking marriage, but i dont remember ever seeing them actually reunite. did i just miss an episode or what?

I KNOW! I KNOW! PICK ME TEACHER, I'M EVER SO SMART!!

(Sorry, I'm in a weird mood)

It was the episode where the class does a production of "Hair" (Part 1 of the 2 parter). In fact, I think I can quote the actual conversation - I had it on tape for a very long time).

(Simone is too shy to audition for the cast)

Eric: Look, Simone, you have a beautiful voice. Everybody knows you do but you.

Simone: It's just that being up there on stage with all those people staring at me - oh Eric, it's terrifying.

Eric: That's why they invented acting. So that beautiful, talented people who ordinarily have nothing to worry about will have something that makes their knees shake, their stomach turn, and then they throw up.

Simone: You too?

Eric: Everybody! Now listen, I want you to go back to Mr Moore and finish that audition, because -

Simone: Because?

Eric: Because, aside from everything else, I would like to have you in the cast with me, because -

Simone: Because?

Eric: Because....I miss you, OK?

Simone: Oh, OK! I mean, that's very, very, very okay...

(They lean in to kiss and of course, the bell for the beginning of class rings)

Of course, after this incident, you never seem to know from episode to episode whether they're together or not. They don't seem to be together on the episode where Simone falls overboard, although Eric seems to be very jealous of the fact that Simone is dating Dennis in this episode. So it's all very frustrating for us Simone and Eric fans...

i hear ya on the frustration. it's like the writers just forgot about it for the longest time. i remember that scene from "hair", and i was so happy because i thought there would be more development of that story in the coming episodes, but nope. hmmm...at least i know i'm not going crazy.

I hate on shows how they have sexual tension between two characters and drag it out for ever and ever but with Simone and Eric she would never go out with im and then she did and I just really lost track of their relationship because in all of the episodes the writers never told you stariaght out if they were together or not.
