Default Who had the better friends?

Fred or Lamont?

I'll give the slight edge to Lamont because I really enjoyed Rollo and Julio. Even Ah choo wasn't bad.

Fred, because he had more of them. Melvin, Bubba, Leroy, Skillet, Grady, Hutch and Elroy.

Fred had funnier friends, but in real life I would rather have Lamont friends because they didn't seem to get Lamont in as much trouble as Fred's friends got him in.

Good question! Julio and Achoo seemed like somebody that could be relied on in a pinch. Rollo and Lamont seemed really tight. Fred didn't have that cloeseness with any of his buddies. They seemed more like buddies than friends.

I loved the character of Grady, but he was a big troublemaker.

I'll say Fred. I've seen more of his friends, and Grady just kills me.

Fred. Though I liked Rollo and Julio was ok, Fred's friends were around a lot more and they were always funny.

If the question here is who had more entertaining friends, definitely Fred. Grady was hilarious. If the question who had better friends, I'd say Lamont.

I agree.

Julio is one of my favorite supporting characters on S & S.
And Rollo was great fodder for Fred.

I liked Fred's friends, especially in the episode where Lamont goes to court and in the "A House is Not a Poolroom" episode, where they were eating him out of house and home.

FRED: (Nervous) See them in there eatin' Grady? And I'm SCARED Grady. I'm scared that when they finished, they're gonna start on my furniture.
LOL
