Default Who liked the original PARENT TRAP movie with Haley Mills?

I remember when I first seen this movie back in the dayz. It was showing today on the Hallmark channel and I love the simplicity of the story and how the girls first hated each other and then tried to get back at each other. My fave part though is how they get back at the gold digger who wants to marry their dad. Brian Keith is so great in this move. When I was young, I had seen the credits and it was like this:

Sharon: Haley Mills
Susan: Haley Mills

I thought they were real twins and I wondered why a mother would name her twins the same name....duh!!!!! I was real young!

Hi,

I've always loved the Parent Trap, one of my favorite disney movies. As a child, my favorite movies were Parent Trap, Pollyanna, Old Yeller, Toby Tyler, and Follow Me Boys. What a coincidence they were all made by Disney lol.

I've never seen the original. I'll have to rent it one of these days. I really like Brian Keith and Hayley Mills so I'm sure I'd enjoy this movie. I did see the remake that came out a few years ago and liked that one alot.

I loved the original Parent Trap, especially because of Maureen O'Hara. She's one of my favorite actresses

Maureen O'Hara was one of the screen's best actresses. She was great in
everything she did, from "Miracle on 34th Street" to "McLintock!"

I enjoyed the original Parent Trap as well. Haley Mills was such a great little actress, in this movie as well as Pollyanna. I haven't seen the remake with Lindsay Lohan, but I doubt it could match the adorability factor of the original...

I love the original Parent Trap! As a kid, I especially liked it because one of the girls' name was Sharon. My name is Sharon and there aren't too many movie Sharons. I was disappointed that they changed the girls' names for the remake.

I just love this movie. I don't care for the remake. I also liked Hayley in Pollyanna. She was such a wonderful child actress, who also made it well as an adult. I didn't know for the longest time that her sister was the actress who played the nanny on The Nanny & The Professor.

I love the original!!!

Maureen O'Hara is so beautiful in that movie. I also love Brian Keith (prelude to Uncle Bill.)

Haley did a great job playing both parts.

And now her sister Juliette plays that crazy witch Tabitha on the soap Passions...

I've always loved this movie. Although when I was younger I wonder how the girls could have English accents if neither parent was English.

Are you talking about Parent Trap 2? I liked that one too since it still had Hayley Mills in it. My mom just bought a DVD that had Parent Trap 1 and 2 on it.
