the episode where Thelma moves in with those crazy people...Shirley and Bear could pass as brother and sister. I mean, there really wasn't much difference between them. Except of course for their gender.

Looking at all the common factors that exist between the two husky characters, oh yeah Shirley and The Bear could've been closely kinned!
After all, each of 'em could eat a person (or persons) out of their house & home, alike...LOL

But yeah, think about it, though: Shirley and The Bear looking so much alike, that they earned each other's paychecks (kinda like Michael and Latoya Jackson)...
