The episode was mostly about Darlene & Alan. Dr Samuels came in & told the class about an essay-writing contest that had to do with the history of New York. Mr. Moore suggested that they write about their family histories. Alan automatically brags about his history & Darlene refuses b/c she knows it will just be about slaves and nothing more. Then when Alan finds out the first of his ancestors to come to America was a poor Irish immigrant, he doesn't want to write the paper. In the end, Darlene learns to take pride in the fact that she's an ancestor of Sally Hemmings & Thomas Jefferson, & Alan tries to apologize for being so stuck-up to Darlene(Both w/ the help of Mr. Moore). That's the gist of what happened, it was a pretty good episode.

It was a good episode, but I almost missed it. I fell asleep, and then I woke up at 1 in the morning. I then realized that we have two nick@nite channels. Nick and Nick-west. So I go to see it.
