Default Ever Notice?

In the C-39 episode pardon my glove, when Joyce Randouph a.k.a Trixe Norton walks in to the room and the audance start claping, she slightly titles her head to the side and smiles to great the audince. You can clearly see that she is saying hi to the audance and for that couple of seconds she went out of caracter. Another Honeymooners blooper, anybody else ever notice that before? If not take a look at that episode again.

there was another one on one of the HONEYMOONERS sketches-but I don't know if you could consider this a blooper or not. In one scene Ralph & Norton are talking, and Jackie Gleasons zipper is down. So when he answers Norton, he walks around the room and turns his back to the camera and pulls it up.

I saw the clip on that recent PBS special about Jackie.

There are plenty of bloopers like that. Too many to mention. There's one with Alice doing something by the window (which is closed), but she sticks her arm through it. That's what happens with live TV. Here's a bunch of them here:

Right Greg, I think that was the one where Trixie is lowering the phone down to Alice and to keep the phone from going thru the "window pane" she was forced to put her hand thru it to guide the phone down properly.

then there's the Kramdens front door in the "lost episodes" (which were never really lost; Jackie knew about them but noone ever asked him ) sometimes it opens from the right, sometimes from the left; sometimes it has a sliding bolt lock, sometimes it doesn't.

Not only that. When the door gets slammed, the whole wall shakes...cheap workmanship, huh?...I guess when you have Jack Benny as a landlord, that's what you get! Also, sometimes the door does not shut. I think there was at least once that you see a hand (probably that of a stagehand) pushing the door shut from the outside. I really liked live TV. I didn't know until years later that the scene from "Better Living Through TV" when Ralph goes plowing through the set during the commercial was not even in the script. Who would have known? It was the funniest scene in the whole show!
