Truett Pratt and Jerry McClain were the artists who recorded it (it went to the
No. 5 position on the Billboard Top 40 chart in April 1976). But I don't know which one was the bass singer. |

I know Potsie is seen whenever the part "Goodbye gray skies hello blue" is on. But I wonder if Potsie actually sang that and if not who did?

It definitely wasn't Anson Williams. It was either Truett Pratt or Jerry McClain.

That bass singer is my grandfather Gerald Garrett. He died several years ago. He actually sung with a group called The Platters. He sung with a variety of other singers.

Hi Gerald, tonight I entered a space of nostalgia. I am from Australia and met your grandfather in South Lake Tahoe. I have some great history of him and me and friends. I taught him to snow ski in Thredbo Australia in the seventies. We became the greatest of friends. He scared the **** out of me driving in his orange mustang in Los Angeles. I have some great history of a great mateship which I can relate about one of the greatest men I have met in my life, and I am anything but a recluse. gerald, his passing back in Wichita was a very sad day for me and one day I would love to visit the cemetery. Please reply and I can give you some wonderful history about a kind, gentle, talented and beautiful non racial man. I look forward to hearing from you

I'm sure I'm the only who thought this. Guess be surprised if anyone else did...anyway
When they show the closing credits i always thought it was Fonzie singing the Happy Days theme during the closing credits. To me it sounded like Henry Winkler. I was only an innocent child during the early yrs of the run |

It sure is an awesome theme song. Thanks for the information about about the deep bass singer. The song would for sure not be the same without it.
