Default CBS Saturday Morning 1980's Bumpers

I posted these on another site, so I might as well post them here too. These are bumpers from there Saturday morning line up, I believe this is from 84' or 85'. This also includes pics from the Saturday Supercade .

Gilligan, don't forget to listen to this montage of CBS Saturday Morning bumpers from the 1984-85 season. It's located on this link. Those pics brings back memories.

And, as a special bonus, "In the News" with Christopher Glenn (who was retired from CBS Radio News last month).

I remember when TV Land first premiered, it ran those CBS "In the News" shorts during their commercials. Of course, that was back when all they showed was classic commercials.

Gilligan, man where did you get that footage from?! That was part of my childhood and I remember it VERY well! I watched all those cartoons back then! I had to have been 10-11 years old and remember it like it was yesterday. CBS also at the time had stuff like "Pryor's Place" CBS Storybreak" "Muppet Babies" "Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n Wrestling" Thanks for posting that!

GARFIELDKOOL, I downloaded it online. PM me and I'll send you the link. It's an older torrent so it might take a while to download.

Thanks Gilligan, I download this 10-minute film so that I can find those commercials. Those are the three commercials from CBS's Saturday morning during the 1984-85, the same era as "The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show" had its final season on CBS before moving to ABC the same year as "The Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes Comedy Hour" and renamed "The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show" on ABC the following year, 1986. That was 20 years ago. I uploaded these three commercials to YouTube, so that everybody remembers it well. Here are the three commercials I uploaded. These are the commercials, not the bumpers.

Gilligan Fanatic, On Retrojunk's website, there is the theme for "Saturday Supercade". If you want to see it, here it is. They got this cool opening theme including openings for "Frogger", "Q-Bert", "Donkey Kong" and "Donkey Kong Jr." complete with closing credits and the Ruby-Spears logo at the end (with no CBS voiceover promo for a different show) next to the "In The News" segment. This is a rare treat if you want to see it. Enjoy!
