One other interesting note I forgot to mention, then i'm signing off...
I read where King Ludwig was never allowed to play with toys when a child. As king, he always had toys around, built this fantastic pre-Disney fantasy land, and so on. Now, I don't think Joey's dad was quite that strict, but this is a known psychological condition, kids not allowed that chance to be kids sometimes retain that childlike quality their whole life. So, while Joey wasn't as bad as King Ludwig back in the late 19th century, it seems like his comedy was completely normal, for a person like him, if his father was really strict. Just like D.J.'s emotionalism because of worries over keeping Michelle from being out of control (which she managed to do) since Danny was so lax, I suspect the writers were much smarter than we give them credit for with Joey. Now, enjoy the Chronology, it'll be up on the site "Tanner Central" probably by the end of the month, or there's that yahoo group. And, thanks for putting up with me. This show fulfilled a need, in some ways, because of some emotional abuse I suffered in school, and you did great putting up with me. It's not a need I have anymore, thankfully. But, i'm glad this file is available for you to enjoy. |
