For those of you who remember, about three years ago I had a brief fling with a girl from my past, someone from my New Jersey years, a girl who would periodically come into my life and hang around long enough to get my hopes up and then vanish like a hip-hop artist at a shootout.

As some of you may recall, it did not end well the last time. Sure, I played it off like things were okay, but actually, it pissed me off that once again, I fell for her charmes and was left holding the bag.

After what had occured, I would have thought that I would never hear from her again.

Until last friday.

I got an e-mail from her (it was sent to my aol address, which I don't use anymore) wishing me a Happy St. Pat's Day.
Okay, it wasn't just for me, she sent it out to a bunch of family and friends, but STILL, she sent me a note. Not cool!

I guess she figures that since it's been three years, it's okay to contact me again, even if it's just a friendly holiday greeting. That's pretty much how she's always been - contact out of the blue after years of silence, maybe I'll call her, maybe we'll get together, etc....

Now, what to do?

Should I reply to the e-mail, or should I just let it go?

I'm leaving it up to you my friends, TJL wants to know!

I would let it go and not reply because you don't know what her sceaming is..really! but that was nice of her to wish you a happy st. patircks day though.. But that's really up to you on what you wanna do...good luck

Ignore it man. You already gave it another shot and it was the same stuff. Don't let her do it again. Ignore the email and block the address.

Ignore her, TJL. I was once in a similar situation. I'm guessing there is a little voice in your head telling you to respond to her email. Don't listen to that little voice. You will be so much happier in the long run. Good luck.
