A person at the idmb message boards said that Firstlook media is planning to release 6* NEW* Stories here are the segments!::::::::

Applebee's Ghosts-In August 1991, 21 year old Celia Martinez was fired from her job as a waitress in an Applebee's restaurant in Manhattan, New York. She went on a murderous rampage, killing several of her former co-workers, before commiting suicide in the restroom. Since then, several customers and employees have witnessed ghostly events in the restaurant and one employee even saw a ghost of one of the murdered waitresses.

Cheerleader Ghosts-In June 2000, Mike Woods was hiking in a rural part of Missouri and decided to spend a night in a large cave. He woke up to sounds like cheerleaders cheering and claimed to have seen ghosts of high school cheerleaders deep within the cave. He notified the police who investigated and they found the remains of several high school cheerleaders and a coach who were murdered on their way to a competition the year before. Their killers remain at large.

Haunted Wal-Mart-Employees at a Wal-Mart store in Dalton, Georgia, insist the store is haunted. Cell phones flew by themselves, employees reported hearing strange laughing sounds, and, in one incident, something unseen tickled several employees and customers.

Maryland Haunted House-John and Deborah Payne insist their colonial home near Baltimore, Maryland, is haunted. They and their three children have seen ghostly figures, witnessed objects levitating, and experienced unearthly chills. But the most terrifying account was when one parapsychologist claimed he saw then was possessed by a sinister ghost who took him to the fiery pits of Hell then returned him.

Kentucky Ghost House-In April 1989, four hikers exploring a remote wooded area near Frankfort, Kentucky, found an old abandoned house in a clearing. They entered the house, experienced a strange husky smell, saw old antiques, and found mummified corpses of elderly women and men in the house. They went to tell police but when they returned, the old house had vanished!

Jinx Dog-In the 1930s, a sheep herding dog named Allistair lived in a village near Aberdeen, Scotland. Those who petted Allistair died from strange deaths. One fisherman who petted the dog drowned when his boat capsized and a woman who petted the dog was murdered by her drunk husband. Was Allistair a cursed dog?

Is it just me or were those segments even featured on UM? Granted I'm not a ghost fan but they didn't ring a bell. I emailed my contact at First Look Media just now and asked if this was accurate or not. I'll pass on the info to you guys.

Well just as I thought the information wasn't accurate. Here is what my contact at First Look Media wrote:

Hi Heather –

They seem a bit confused.

As you know, we ARE releasing new Ghost episodes as part of the bonus Treasures disc - it’s actually half Hidden Treasures and half new Ghost segments - in the Best of Unsolved Mysteries 4-disc set (and the 25-disc Ultimate set, which has been pushed back to April). We are not, however, making the disc available individually, nor are we creating a new one.

Also, the episodes listed are not the ones appearing on the disc. I’m really not sure where they received those titles…

These are the titles of the episodes actually appearing on the disc – I think I already sent you the rundown, but here they are anyways…

Hey everyone sorry about that info! So i take it that It's going to be a Bonus Disc for Treasures DVD set???????If so that sucks,because I don't feel like buying that whole DVD Collection! I just want Treasures & that New Bonus Features! Also I don't know why that person at imdb put those titles! Sorry!

Hey, it happens. You just have to pick and choose who to believe when it comes to message boards. In my opinion, the IMDB is one of the worst places to get reliable information from.

i guess the ghost dvd are the biggest sellers. yawn. the ufo dvds are pretty good, but theyre fiction!! but nothing makes for more lively discussions than events that really happened. its clear that first look wants UM's legacy to be
more about the paranormal stuff even though it prob made up only 1/3 of the segments.

I like the paranormal stuff, too. But, with True Crime, you get the real facts you know are true. You sort of know it really happened.

Personally, I enjoy all types of segments on UM other than the Lost Loves, although I must admit that every now and then even one of those entertains me.

The "Lost Loves" jumped the shark for me when they profiled a married couple who lost all contact with their kids. The married couple...are first cousins!
