Remember Sea Monkees? I order some when I was a kid,I was very dissapointe it, the were small shrimp. On the back of the comics they had cartoons of them as big looks like monkees or something but,not shrimp,little,little shrimp.

I remember these as well... a total waste of time and money! I recall being sad when the monkees didn't grow into the cartoon characters on the back of the box, too...

I remember those too!!! I never owned any, but I always wondered what was sooooo fascinating about them!!! I remember wondering if they were also going to look like those happy-go-lucky monkeys at the back of those comics!

Sea Monkeys and Magic Rocks. The Sea monkeys never had little smiling faces or anything. What a gip! You got brine shrimp eggs I think.

Yup, we wanted those suckers too, but our folks wouldn't let us get them. How did THEY know it was a gyp?

We used to see the ads in comic books, and on cereal boxes at certain times...
