Sweet Daddy- EASY! Theodore Wilson made the character into someone the audience could actually care about even when hating what he was doing.
All Lenny had going was that long trench coat- and we never saw or heard of him selling anything!

Sweet Daddy was great, but put up against Lenny, I'd rather see what the hell Lenny's talking about today.

LOL-Not sure what ever became of Lenn-Y(aka Dap Sugar Willie). According to the imdb he kind of "vanished" around the same time as Ned the Wino/Woody Anderson- 1978.

I remember seeing him on BET's Comic View back in 1992. He actually did a stand up routine under Dap Sugar Willie, in Lenny character. I was totally surprised, as he still looked and dressed the same. I guess he took that gimmick on the road as a comic. He acted like Lenny the whole routine, but somehow the magic wasn't there. I forced my laugh.

I'm still trying to find the episode when he guest starred on the Jeffersons in 83. Can't Imagine what kind of role he would have been playing on there

Oh, I had no idea he was on there in '83. Last time I checked it seemed like he stopped in 1978. Wonder how he looked/acted at that time-lol
