I've never watched an entire episode, but I catch the end of it often, as it leads into America's Most Wanted.

The people getting arrested...what a bunch of losers. Toothless drunks, mullet wearing guys in wife beaters who really are beating their wives...trailer park misfits. The women aren't much better.

That show is crazy.

I love this show. I've been watching it since 1989. I don't know anyone who has ever been on Cops--none of the cops themselves or any of the criminals or witnesses. Sometimes it will be filmed in this state, but I've never caught any tapings from the larger cities.

They've come here a few times I think. It's cool seeing familiar sites on TV.

And they did a great job of showcasing the losers of my nice little city.

The best ones are the ones from high crime places....like all of NJ. People there are wacked.

Iv'e seen a few neighborhood people on Cops before, but none of them I really knew, just people I'd seen around. There was this one drunk old man who was on Cops once, who use to make up stories about how he killed a cop, and all kinds of other crap that he'd tell to all the neighborhood kids, but none of us really took him seriously. But yeah, my actual neighborhood has been highlighted many times on the show.

Can you say which state you're in? I see you live in Portland, but, which one? Thats ok if you don't. It was filmed in Anchorage a few times. The first one in Anchorage was stubid. I have a friend she says that her uncle was in one and of course in Anchorage, and it was filmed in Kodiak, Alaska.

It's hard to rememeber a lot of scenes from the show, but there's an Alaska one from a few years ago I'll never forget. First of all, it's funny when you live outside of Alaska and you see it being daylight at night when it's summer. So it was sunny out and probably past 10 pm and this chick was going crazy. She had to be held down once they were in a station. It even showed her locked up in a room. It was insane how she was acting--one of the most extreme ones I've seen on Cops.

I live in Oregon. They do shows here in Portland alot. Infact, that John guy who's mentioned in the beginning of the theme song, was an Oregon cop, and he was one of the guys who got the show started. CW Jensen was another Oregon cop, and I think he was very much involved in the show once as well. I think they both work on a show called most amazing police videos now.

Anyway, some of the Alaska episodes are my very favorites. There are some pretty interesting characters around those parts to say the very least. Maybe the cold Alaskan weather makes many of them go crazy, just like the rain, and dreary weather makes many Oregonian's go crazy.

I remember seeing a chick like that! She kept going on and on about the cops hating Indians or something. I wonder if it was the same woman??

Yes! It has to be! I don't remember exactly what she said, but she was Indian as I remember, and totally wasted.
