I just discovered that they made Christmas ornaments of Heckle and Jeckle in 2004. My tree every year has nothing but cartoon character ornaments on it. I was searching various online stores and saw it was completely sold out everywhere. Apparently, it is a rare item. I am so pissed off now. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

yeah i wanted a blue iPod mini but now ipod minies are discontinued. i got a nano though and still love it

a bunch of books I want are out of print. Many of them have been out of print for over thirty years.

I also wanted this last year, but Sun Coast who distributed them, stop selling them. I found them on ebay, but they were selling for outrageous prices.

I wanted to get my wife the Pink limited edition DS but they discontinued them and on ebay they want like over $1,000 for it

Doesn't really apply because it's out in DVD now, but the year before that happened, I wanted the Back to the Future trilogy so bad. It was the top thing on my Christmas list and I was bummed when my mom told me it was discontinued. Yay for them releasing all of them in a box set on DVD the next year.

Yeah, I was looking for marshmallow alphabits cereal for like a year until I realized it was discontinued. I still miss it!!

The Friends 10 Season Pack that was released, i wanted to buy it when it was released but didn't, now it's oop and much to expensive for my budget.

Many times. Lipstick, a style of bra I wore for years, Tylenol gel caps...many foods in the grocery store. It's frustrating.

I usually call or e:mail the company to find out if a product has been discontinued (if they're still in business). Often times, a store may stop carrying an item, and it's not discontinued at all.

I was looking for a small vhs tape rewinder at all the stores in our town & nobody had them. But I was able to find some online and I ordered 3 of them.
I hate when stores don't carry items that you'd bought there before.

YES!! I've been trying to find a (cheap) CD of the Bee Gees' Main Course. I thought it was one of their most popular albums, but it must be out of print here in the US. It is available on Amazon as an import, and the people selling it USED are selling it are charging more than the import price!!

I'll keep hunting, though...
