Default Odd for Florida for not INQUIRING BEFOREHAND...

abt JJ's new job. Don't you think if your son came home stating he got hired as an ad executive, he would mention the company name? And if he didn't mention the name, would YOU INQUIRE THAT INFORMATION? I mean, it's just plain common sense. "Oh that's great JJ, what company is this?" "Oh JJ that's wonderful, what is the name of the company?" Nope, not gonna fly with me that Flo wouldn't inquire.

No. But she did ask herself "maybe he got a big cash advance"...she only started inquiring when he was buying things. since it was a two-parter, i can only assume it was abt a week. Still, had my son come home announcing he got a job and bought fancy new clothes for his work, I would have asked abt his job, the place, etc. It's common sense. she may not have asked for a letter of hire...I have never received a letter of hire for any job...but still people do ask when they have been told by someone "I got a job" your first inclination is to ask "Oh yeah, where?"

The biggest problem with Florida is that she was way too passive. She let too many things slide by. She didn't inquire about JJ's job, she didn't get angry when James skipped out on a job interview and she always seemed relaxed when James got passed over for jobs.

good description of her. it was obviously a character flaw of hers. It just made no sense to have her character be that way when she was so "keen" abt other stuff.

I assumed a letter that states "as of blah blah blah, you are hired full-time, with the salary rate of blah blah..." I have seen letters like that, but I have never received anything like that. I have received packages abt the health coverage.
