Do you see similarities between it and The Bob Newhart Show? I just got a lot of episodes in a trade, and although I've only seen about 5 or 6 eps so far, it really does kind of remind me of the old Bob Newhart Show. The opening credits, the way they show Tony making his way to work and home, the way it was filmed (in film not videotaped like AITF), even some of the story setups. Just an observation-lol

It was put out by MTM which produced TBNS so a lot of their show's opening credits did look similar.

I noticed that too. All the characters were very similar. Tony Randall seemed to be a little more wound up and excited than Bob though.
