Is there a current listing of upcoming segments that still air on Lifetime? I looked on the site, but guess if it's there I missed it.

Cindysong,
It's not you, the website hasen't been updated in like forever (give or take a year). your best bet would be to check local listings on the cable guide in your area. Sometimes they might throw out a tidbit as to what stories they will profile, but it's not always the norm. In all honesty, I think the best bet is to record it (TIVO, VHS, Beta ( I have one believe it or not ). and fast foward through the one that bore you.

Occasionally on www.lifetimetv.com they will list which UM segments are coming up. I haven't been there in a while but its something you might want to check out.

Yeah, TiVo is great for UM episodes. I always end up speeding through at least one segment because I'm not interested.

I don't think "Lifetime" ever lists summaries for any of the episodes that they didn't re-edit in 2001/2002. Although I've noticed that "Lifetime" does seem to air the episodes in some sort of weird chronology. They have not aired the episodes in sequential order for quite some time (and granted there are several episodes which they either don't air or have "mined" certain segments and placed them in other episodes)
But that all being said if they are airing an episode from say 1991 on a Monday, the episode on tuesday will be an episode from 1991. The rarely vary up their sequence so radically that you cannot predict what is coming next. At first I thought the whole process was totally random but to a degree you can use the episode guide on this site to sort of gauge what is going to be aired next. Just don't use it as bible. |
