Default Do you think Comcast has surpassed DirecTV?

Since they have the ON DEMAND feature? I think that was the latest creation that put Comcast in the lead as the best Cable provider. Any Directv users are free to debate this.

BTW: Comcast users can still watch TV during a Thunderstorm-lol

I love Comcast. On Demand is great. I love the high-speed internet that I have too. It's kind of expensive though. My monthly bill now is about $150, but it's worth it.

It's, as they say, Comcastic!

Don't know anything about Direct TV.

I have Directv I'm satisfied with it, Although I only watch TV at night and weekends LOL. I had Comcast a yr and half ago and I didn't like the reception that I would get, and everytime it would storm my cable would go out. I don't know what's special about the On-Demand feature since I didn't have it when I was with Comcast. But I love my Directv they have great internet features to where I can't change my channel package/PPV over the internet and it happens instantly, no more calling and talking to operators, also I love the free concerts they have.

I don't have comcast so I can't compare it. I had Directv for 7 years though.

BTW: I think Directv has gone downhill since GM sold it.

I got Cox Cable and we don't have On Demand or anything like that. I have been reading about it and it sounds nice. Not to many show I like are on it though.

I have Directv and quite frankly it's crap.

I LOVE COMCAST ON DEMAND!!!

My friend has comcast and I go over to her house to watch it a lot.

Can't wait till I get to college, I'm gonna have on-demand in my dorm

I've been with DirecTV for over a year now, and I have to admit that the quality is crap. All the channels look fuzzy and I sure as hell know it's not my $5,000 TV that needs changing.

Not even their HD channels are shown in complete HD quality, they have something called HD Lite. *barf*

I might need to go back to Dish.

I have DirecTV and I agree that it's gone downhill in the last few years. THe big advantage DirecTV used to have was their pricing compared to cable, but now D's motto seems to be "let's raise prices once a year. If the High Def picture is as bad as people say it is, I may go to high def cable when I get a high def TV.

Where I live, Insight is our cable provider, so I can't comment on Comcast.

LOL about watching during a thunderstorm. Sometimes all it takes is a good rain shower to lose the pic.
