Here is a cartoon related topic in memory of Peter Tomarkin who killed in a plane crash in Santa Monica recently, I would like to play for you a clip from "Press Your Luck" where Peter Tomarkin asked the three contestants a question. "What was the famous cartoon character where he says 'Sufferin' Succotash!'"? A third contestant buzzed in answer was Sylvester. But Peter gives the choices:
A. Sylvester B. Goofy C. Daffy Duck But the first two contestants answered "Sylvester", but Peter's response was "Daffy Duck" and all three contestants got it wrong. And at the end of the show, Peter Tomarkin called Mel Blanc on the phone where he talks about the wrong answer where it was a mistake. I've heard Mel's voice on the phone where it features cameos by Sylvester, Speedy Gonzalez and Porky Pig where he does his famous "That's all folks!" trademark at the end of Peter Tomarkin's conversations on the phone. And after that, Peter says "Besure to tune in tomorrow for another episode of 'Looney Tunes'". It was one of the funniest moments in PYL history with appearances by one of the WB characters. Enjoy this clip. Looney Tunes on "Press Your Luck" I'm going to dedicate this clip in memory of Peter Tomarkin who killed yesterday in a plane crash in Santa Monica. RIP.
